19 months old!

Parker's Stats @ his 18 month checkup:

Stats:
weight: 22.5 lbs (20th percentile)
height: 31.5" (20th percentile)
clothing size: 18-24 months
shoe size: 5

Parker had is second hair cut this past month. His poor hair was getting out of control. With the weather warming up, we thought we would give him a cooler cut. I think he misses playing with the back of his hair when he's going to sleep.

We have been enjoying the wonderful weather the past couple of months. Lots of trips to the park and dips in his new little pool.

Parker has changed so much the past few months. He says and signs a lot! If you are contemplating whether or not to introduce sign language to your baby/toddler, I'd definitely say it was the best thing we ever did. It takes the guessing game out of what Parker is wanting.

Signs Parker knows and consistently uses:

more
please
thank you
food
hungry
milk
daddy
mommy
brush hair/teeth
change
shoes
socks
dog
all done/finished
bath

Parker has started to put a few together and make sentences. I love this age so much. He will also say most of these words too.

Parker can count to three. It is the most adorable thing to hear him say the numbers. Honestly, it's adorable just to hear his voice.

Parker follows instructions, like if I ask him to go get his socks and shoes. He will go and get them. If I ask him to pick something up, he will pick it up and put it where I ask him to.

Parker is shy around new people...at first. Once Parker gets to know you, he turns into this funny little guy. He will show off and put on a little show for you. It is too cute.

Parker loves to torment the kitties. He will get into a little "pawing" match with Picasso. Our cats are really good with him, they resist biting him even if Parker is poking eyes, pulling whiskers and tails.

Parker loves to shower, he doesn't even want anyone with him. He will jump in and close the door to the shower so you can't come in. He will even wash himself with his soap.

I have to say Parker is such a good little boy. With all the things that keep me busy throughout the day, it never really bothers him. When he knows I have to sit down and sew, he will sit in his room and play with his toys and even quietly read his books.
