So as most of you know I have a 10 year old daughter, granted I was a decade younger, I had "zero" pregnancy symptoms. No morning sickness, and definately no fatigue. I tell you this little one is giving me all of them(not complaining, just an observation.) I haven't been throwing up but I do have the constant upset stomach, the fatigue, and this week the over-exaggerated allergy symptoms. I broke down and bought a bella band so I can continue to wear my regular pants as they are getting uncomfortable to have buttoned.
I have to say no matter what I'm going through, I'm loving all of it because I know why I have all these symptoms and it's because God is blessing us with the fourth member of our little family :)

Baby's 1st Ultrasound
We had our first u/s appointment today. The baby looks healthy, we heard the heartbeat which was so amazing.(132bpm) Baby is measuring 6 weeks 6 days which is a few days longer than my EDD from my ovulation date and 4 days longer than my EDD from my LMP. I talk to my OB next week and she will decide after looking at the u/s what EDD she would like to use. At this point anywhere between 9/29-10/3. This was a vaginal u/s. If you look at the picture the whitish halo around the baby is what is forming to be the placenta :)

We are becoming four!!!

I have been feeling very sick, very emotional, and very exhausted since Saturday. I just knew something was "off." It was early but I decided what the hey, I have FRER(First Reponse Early Results) pregnancy tests and decided Sunday morning (1/17) to take a test. There was a "faint" second line, I couldn't believe it. At the point of my first test I was 9DPO(days past ovulation), this is not common to get a positive pregnancy test result this early. Just to confirm the results I repeated the test on Monday morning and also on Tuesday morning. The lines were still light but getting darker with each test :D Today we went to the OBGYN to have them draw blood and also do a urine pregnancy test confirm our results. The test came back "POSITIVE!"
UPDATE: OB also did a quantitative blood test. At 12DPO(3w5d)my HCG was 156 and at 14DPO(4w0d)it was 406 so it more than doubled which is what my OB wanted to see.
We are having a baby and our EDD is 10.03.10
Keep us in your prayers for a happy & healthy baby in 9months :D
