Temperature: 77 degrees
Location: McCormick Railroad Park-Scottsdale, Arizona
I have been going to this railroad park for as long as I can remember. It is such a neat place to visit if you live in Arizona and have never been. Best of all, it's free! Well, mostly free. You do have a pay a couple dollars to ride the trains or the carousel(though I found out today that on Sunday's, some of the attractions are free since the train clubs runs them instead of the city.)
It was an absolutely perfect day to introduce Parker to trains, and it was nice to be out and about after spending the whole week holed up in the house with everyone sick. Also, what a great place to take pictures for this weeks scavenger hunt
Parker, digging his toes in the cool sand. Baby toes! It doesn't get much cuter than this.
This sitting area was in the new model train building. I loved the lighting, the colors, the painting in the background.
Okay so it's not bright white, but it's the desert. There's always a fresh layer of dust and dirt on anything outdoors.
As you can see this train ran along the ceiling. Parker was enthralled by this train and he was not letting daddy put him down anytime soon. It was funny how Parker would arch his back to get a better view.
And here are the rest of the pictures!
I love everything about this post! My son is addicted to all things train so needless to say, trains have come to hold a special place in my heart:)
ReplyDeleteAll of the photos are wonderful but after the winter we've had I think your warmth shot is my favorite. Can't get enough of blue skies and sunshine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat place to go - my dad used to be a Train Conductor so I used to be at the train station quite a bit as a child. I should go back sometime. Love these photos.
ReplyDeleteAll great interpretations!! Love that pattern shot - very cool!
ReplyDeleteLove the shot with that cool track painting in the background! How fun :D
